Hi my name is Patrick and welcome to my blog :)
Just a little about me ... I grew up in New Jersey and currently live in sunny South Florida (USA). It's about a 30 minute drive to South Beach or a short plane ride to the Bahamas.
I love working out and leading a healthy lifestyle. I also enjoy MMA, boxing, basketball, and American football.
Technical and Educational Background
I have a Bachelor's degree in Finance and worked for a major credit card company for 17 years as a computer programmer.
On the tech side, I'm skilled in ASP.Net, SQL Server, C#, and stored procedures among other things. I built this site using one of the web's most powerful cms (content management system) tools Joomla ®!
My Photography Experience
I always enjoyed photography as a young child and would take photos with a Polaroid or single use camera. I struggled with traditional cameras because I always damaged the film. As you can imagine, digital photography for me was a god send!
Years ago, I met a professional photographer who worked in the fashion industry with bikini models. I would sometimes fill in as his assistant on photo shoots. I'll admit that it was a tough job but someone had to do it :-).
After being around professionals and seeing the quality of their work, I decided to upgrade my digital camera. I bought a Nikon D200 digital SLR.
After this purchase, I began shooting all the time. My hometown has beautiful beaches, landscapes, architecture, and nightlife. There's beauty in every part of the world as long as you open your eyes.
Photography allowed me to slow down a bit and appreciate the sunset, tall buildings, and smell the fresh flowers.
